What a time to be alive.
Despite using AI daily for a while, I wasn't comfortable with letting agents do most of the work until 60 days ago. Since handing over the nitty-gritty details, I've merged over 900 PRs in two months.
Flooding GitHub with more LOC isn't a flex. In fact, I resisted doing volume because I didn't want Compass Calendar to turn into a mountain of slop.
However, it's finally possible for agents to do work without messing everything up along the way.
What I'm most proud of from the last two months isn't the PR count, but how the product has actually become SIMPLER.
It takes a lot of restraint to keep refining an existing UX instead of rushing into more features. But man, it feels good to go fast and not break things.

Tell the LLM to plan a feature by creating well-groomed issues under a single milestone in GitHub
Tell the coding agent to work through each of the issues on their own until the milestone is done (use “/goal”).
